On October 15, 2026, Factory Systemes hosted its Innovative Tech Day, an event bringing together industry professionals and technology partners (Advantech, Durabook, and Innodisk) to discuss key developments in the industrial sector. The event focused on the technological advancements driving the digital transformation of industrial environments: cybersecurity, connectivity, edge computing, artificial intelligence, and service continuity.
Through presentations, customer case studies, and demonstrations, the goal was to share practical approaches and show how these technologies address the challenges encountered in the field.
Throughout the morning, several major topics were addressed in presentations by our teams and partners. Industrial cybersecurity, in particular, took center stage, with discussions focusing on securing IT systems and regulatory developments, including the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
Several presentations also focused on industrial connectivity, particularly IoT networks and LoRaWAN infrastructure, as well as edge computing and artificial intelligence.
Other presentations addressed developments in the industrial components market, rugged mobility solutions, and equipment designed to meet the demands of challenging industrial environments.
These discussions highlighted the diversity of technologies that help enhance the performance, reliability, and security of industrial facilities.
The afternoon was devoted to several operational challenges: managing edge computing equipment, backing up and restoring industrial systems, and ensuring high infrastructure availability.
Demonstrations in our Technoroom allowed participants to explore various solutions and engage with the Factory Systemes teams.
The day also included a tour of the production and storage facilities, offering a glimpse into Factory Systemes’ operations and organization.
